@******902 yes I think you are right, when was in college I had an Australian best friend and she told me never to use the word cunt. I thought it might have changed there also...As for American women, it all depends on the situation and personality of course, but when an American male calls me a cunt i usually come back with " you bet ya I am a cunt,- and you have seen nothing yet".. *witz*

I grew up in Aus, when I moved to the US I was in my late twenties, and after 8 years moved here to Germany. Been here now for 12 years. So yes, I've been away from an English speaking land for a while, but I still think "cunt" is the least sociably acceptable "insult" in both Aus and USA. But it doesn't matter, your positive attitude of turning it around on the males trying to insult you is great. And if you can walk away from that with a smile then its all good.
