WhatsApp group for dates & events
We created a WhatsApp group to make it easier for couples and women to find dates and events. You can send us a request to join the group with your name and JoyClub ID on our WhatsApp number +49 152 0566 4492.
Please remember: we will only include you in the group if you have a verified (at least white tick) couple or single woman profile.

CAREFUL SHARING PERSONAL DATA WITH STRANGERS

Hey @**********Event

This is certainly a nice concept, and it could make keeping in touch with everybody very convenient. Unfortunately, it's probably not a great idea...

Please be very careful when sharing personal information with strangers - especially in this context. Some awkward situations may arise, or at worst, someone's safety might be put at risk.

WhatsApp doesn't allow much anonymity. WhatsApp may be encrypted, but the identities of those using it are not, and it's only a matter of minutes until people in the group will start getting "friend suggestions" from Facebook.

Even if the list is managed manually, once it gets larger than a few dozen people, it will become very hard to control. Also, people's situations change. A couple's profile might become a single male due to a breakup, but his WhatsApp stays the same.

...but that's presuming only men are stalkers *zwinker*

It is hard to keep people safe, but JOYclub is trying to keep systems in place to help. My advice is to keep the conversation here. Besides, that's what the groups are for.

It hard enough to keep people safe, but JOYclub is trying to keep systems in place to help. My advice is to keep the conversation here. Besides, that's what the groups are for.

Thank you for your message and all these valid points. I think we all are aware of such kind of vulnerability. Above that all there is always an option, what we know called 'Block' if somebody annoy or hares you. Our intention is only to make it easier to bring and find like-minded people together. Let everybody decide what they want. There are many WhatsApp group from the scene. Nevertheless thank you for your concerns and have a nice day. *g*
